I am working on a project on my computer that is stored at ~/Dropbox/ClientName/2013.

The project folder itself has about five levels.

This means that even on my 27" imac I can not usually see the entire path in the path navigator. For a long time I have thought I would like a way to condense the path navigator by using a smaller or condensed font, or by going to two lines (!) but I think a neater solution might be the ability, on a per window basis lets say, to arbitratrily set the base of the path to something other than the root.

I would like this because I tend to think of PF windows as project management tools, since I can have tabs, panes, etc, so I tend to give them more permanent purpose than a reg'lar ole Finder window.

Maybe setting and unsetting the base of the path could be done by control clicking on it.
