Path Finder and SharePoint

We use Sharepoint heavily at my work, and I am trying to find a way to connect Path Finder to it to allow me to save documents to my folder.

In Windows, I can map the network drive (e.g. http://sharepoint.xyz.org/epiccm) and then can just save the file there from within Windows Explorer (or from within the app itself even). With Path Finder, I can map the drive (credentials were asked for and provided), and view the contents, but it will not allow me to save. It says "Error Occurred... the operation couldn't be completed. OSStatus Error -36). Is there a way to verify my credentials? Once I put them in the first time it never asks for them again. I'm wondering if I need to put the domain in with my UID.

Can someone help me with this?

    Hi John.

SharePoint will accept, from Finder, a copy or move of folder that is without a .DS_Store (Desktop Services Store) file.

More generally, attempts to copy or move folders may fail with errors such as:

    • -43
    • -36 - when some data in .DS_Store can’t be read or written.

Please read this and this about SharePoint support on OS X.

If you own MS Office for Mac 2011, it already includes Document Connection to overcome this limitation.

Other alternatives are SharePlus, Transmit or Cyberduck which allow you to connect through WebDAV.

Thanks... but can you tell me in simple terms and not with a bunch of links, how I just save it? I have MS Office for Mac 2011, but I don't see anything for SharePoint in it.
