Display order

Hi - I'm displaying the contents of a folder as icons and have smart sorting enabled, however when it shows the files, it displays them in two columns right to left, top to bottom. It there a way for it to display the files top to bottom, left to right? (i.e. display them in one column and wrap the column into a new column if it's too long--I'm trying to mimic how windows displays files in list view)

Hi Jason. There's no way to do what you want. That's how Icon View sorts things both in Path Finder and Finder. According to your screenshot, If sorting was done one column at a time, how would it know where to cut to the next column when you still have enough free space below?
