Hidden files in the Trash

I seemed to have encountered what may be either a bug or a design decision with how Path Finder manages the Trash. It seems when the Trash only contains hidden files (I've only tested with dotfiles so far, not other types of hidden files yet), the Empty Trash and Securely Empty Trash options are unavailable via the desktop Trash item. Moreover, the number of hidden files is not counted in the badge on the desktop Trash icon. The hidden files are counted, however, in the right click menu, next to each individual Trash location. This is all with "Show hidden files" enabled. I think the correct thing to do here is to not ignore hidden files as items in the Trash when "Show hidden files" is enabled, while perhaps hardcoding in an exception for ".DS_Store" files since Finder tends to put them in the Trash folders causing false impressions that the Trash is nonempty.

Is this being worked on or just ignored?
