We will investigate available APIs for Dropbox and possibilities to integrate them into PathFinder, but that will take some time.
Also, it's rather expected we wouldn't be able to achieve full functionality like working with the native application, as APIs these companies provide don't offer the full functionality of native applications.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.
I just installed your new update for version 8. It did nothing to fix this
problem. I'm attaching a screen shot that might help point you in the right
direction. On the left, you'll see the listing for the "Screenshots" folder
in Dropbox, as viewed in Path Finder. In the center is the same folder,
viewed from a Finder window, and on the right is a web browser view of the
folder in Dropbox. As you can see, while the web and Finder views are
consistent, the Path Finder view is showing old, previously deleted files,
AND NONE OF THE NEW ONES, SINCE 2016. I'm not sure where it's getting that
list, or how its doing it. But it's pretty useless a tool when it doesn't
show the actual contents of a folder.
Is there some way to force a refresh? I've already tried deleting the
Dropbox link in Path Finder and then relinking the account. No joy.
Here's another view of the problem...my Path Finder "Dropbox" folder is not sync'd with the REAL Dropbox folder. If I open a web browser version of Dropbox, I see all sorts of recent folders. I see exactly the same folders/files in Finder. But when I look at the same Dropbox account in Path Finder, I don't see any of the latest folders or files. I'm unclear on how this could have worked in version 7, and is now, suddenly, broken in version 8.
