When you type a search string in the "Filter by Name" bar in the toolbar, there doesn't seem to be an easy way of setting your focus to the results shown in the main section of the PathFinder window.

You can easily get to the filter text bar with the keyboard alone (cmd+shift+F) but getting back to open/interact with those results requires a mouse click or about 9 "tab" keypresses (with no indication that you're actually focusing on said items after 8 tabs, so I hope you were counting!).

It seems to me that pressing return should take the keyboard focus down to the listed items in the main part of the window so you can interact with the ones you've just searched/filtered for.

    Hi Andrew.

To overcome this limitation, a user created a plugin called Search Field Menu which you can download here and set your own hotkey to toggle the focus to and from the filter bar.

    Cheers.
