PF always starts at last location regardless of Home Directory preference setting.

Ok. I saw one other thread where someone talked about this behavior (click here to see that post), and the discussion was closed with the following:

"The FIRST window that opens when you start Path Finder will open in the SAME folder that was open in the LAST window that closed when Path Finder was quit previously. This is because Path Finder remembers the whole browser state and opens it exactly the same the next time it's started. From then on, all new windows will open in the STARTING directory you chose."

That's nice and all, but is there a way to disable this behavior. Basically, I want PF to alway open at ~/ regardless of where I was when I quit. I have no problem hacking the com.cocoatech.PathFinder plist if that's what it takes.

Thanks,
David.

    Hi David.

You just need to close the working window (Command + W) before actually quitting Path Finder and on the next launch, it will open your custom location.

    Cheers.
