CPU Usage for PF8

I'm seeing a lot of high CPU usage (90+%) in PF8. I'm not actually using it actively when this is happening. I don't even have any open windows. The only thing I can think of is that I have some AFP and SMB shares from another Mac on my network.

If there's any info I can provide, let me know.

    Hi,

Please select a .txt file, open Preview module preferences (little gear next to its header) and disable "Colorize syntax". Will this make a difference?

Please feel free to write us back and we will be happy to assist you.

    Best Regards,

    Hello,

    thank you for this hint.
    Unfortunately it doesn´t work.
    Pathfinder CPU is normal, but
coreservicesd goes up to 80-90 Percent.
If Pathfinder quits, coreservice is immediatily away.

    Kind Regards

    Wolfgang Korinth

    Hi Kee,

Will resetting View Options (cmd+J) and disabling "Calculate all sizes" make a difference?

    Best Regards,
    Jordan
