PF showing only icon previews rather than file type icons for Google File Stream

Files in Google File Stream all show up with an icon preview (showing the contents of the file) rather than the icon for the file type. This happens on all MS Office docs (.xlsx, .docx, etc) as well as google drive file formats (.gsheet, .gdoc), and also PDFs.

This essentially makes a spreadsheet file icon look the same as a document icon or a PDF- white with tiny text - if viewing as list. There doesn't appear to be any way to change this behavior. Obviously this makes it difficult to quickly locate files.

This does not occur in non-GFS folders.

    Hi,

Could you please confirm, do you have "Show icon preview" enabled in View Options (cmd+J)?
Will changing this setting make a difference?

    Looking forward to your reply.

Hi. It appears that this is actually an issue in Finder as well, so it must be due to GFS or OSX rather than PF. Thanks.
