attach a file in e-mails

When using my mail boxes (gmail or outlook), and I go to attach a file, Finder pulls up the options, not Path Finder. Can this be changed? I would like Path Finder be the default for this action.
Please let me know/

    Thanks for reaching out! 

    Please see the following article:
    It may not help in this particular case but it's still worth trying.
    Path Finder is unable to duplicate some system functionality that is embedded in the Finder, and removing or disabling the Finder will break these functions.
    Also, a few applications are hard-wired directly to the Finder and are unable to communicate with any other file browser.
    These applications can relaunch Finder or even fail to work if Finder is not running.
