MacBook Pro (Retina)
Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.3
Pathfinder - 7.6.2
135% CPU - next is 25%
40gb Memory - next app is 1gb
124 energy - next is 14

Fan runs all the time until I disable Pathfinder
Renders this app totally useless
Delete - reinstall - whatever no change

What to do to stop this hogging app ?

    Hi Andrew,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately, this is a known issue.

May I ask you to disable the Tags column (shelf modules) in List view and check if the issue still persists?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

Pathfinder crashes all the time in High Sierra. I keep returning to Finder, then try again because I need the Pathfinder features, but crash--spinning beach ball.

Months now. Will this ever be fixed?

    Hi Peter,

Could you please check if you have "Tags" column enable in List View by using Cmd+J?
If you do, please disable it and check if the issue still persists.
