Pathfinder Crashes when copy, paste or move

This has been a bug for well over a year and Pathfinder crashes whenever you try to copy/paste or move files from one window to the other. It's so infuriating and nothing seems to be being done about it.

I'm running Yosemite 10.10.5 and want to keep doing so as it works just fine. Pathfinder however doesn't.

All links in this support to download version 7.4.1 are dead.

How do I revert back to an older version, which was a great tool?

With the current flaws it's useless.

Here is a link to 7.4.1. This came from the PF support team. It's a zip file that expands to Path Finder.app and __MACOSX. I had the same problems as you with lots of crashes, and fell back to 7.4.1. That was on Yosemite, but I've moved over to Sierra now.

    Hi,

Please downgrade to PathFinder 7.4.1. Further versions brought only new macOS optimization, that sometimes causes troubles for those who use older systems.
Here's the link to the compatible version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hw64ywf3fbafis2/PF_7.4.1_%281704%29.zip?dl=0

We also recommend disabling the automatic update checker in Path Finder > Preferences > General.

Be sure to let us know should any further questions arise.

The reversion works great. Back to what it used to be. Have switched off auto upgrades too.

    Thanks all.
