I have PathFinder 7.6.2 (on OSX 10.12.6) set to open new folders in a tab by default, but would like the option (via maybe a keyboard shortcut) to open a folder in a new window. I can't find a way to do this. The context menu has "Open in new tab" and "Open" but both do the same thing. Am I missing something?

Edit: OK, command-click opens in a new window. But there isn't anything to add this to the context menu as far as I can see. And to clarify the above, I use the context menu to open in a new tab and would like a similar context entry to open in a new window.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out!

You can alter the cmd+click behavior under PathFinder > Preferences > Browser:

You can also have "Show in New Window" Contextual Menu item:

I hope this helps. Let me know should you have any additional questions.
