The latest update of Path Finder, Version 7.6.2 is not hiding the Finder Desktop. I am running High Sierra, Version 10.13.2 Beta.

    Hi Leo,

    Thanks for reaching out!

May I ask you to follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists:

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article:
      http://support.cocoatech.com/kb/installation-and-compatibility/how-...
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site
    3. Copy zipped app to the Applications folder
    4. Unzip it into the Apps folder and launch

Let me know how it goes.

    Best Regards,
    Jordan

    Jordan,

I followed your instructions with the exception of the zip file. Path Finder does not down load as a zip file. I did have Safari download it directly to the Applications folder on my second try, but it still will not hide the Finder Desktop.

I have turned it on and off a number of times and will not work. Also, the “Quit Finder” will not work.

It finally started working on its own. There might have been an update to the operating system, but I am not sure.
