Hey,

My right pane is growing bigger (and left getting smaller) on every up/down arrow press or click on a filename.

I think it has something to do with my settings. I have imported them on a fresh new machine (by copying com.cocoatech.PathFinder.plist) and it has the bug already.

    Hi Darius,

In order for me to best assist you could you make a screen recording of the issue and send it to us.

To make a screen recording please follow the steps below:
    1. Launch Finder>Applications>Quick Time Player.
    2. Tray Menu>File>New Screen Recording.

I believe this info is going to help us a lot, thank you for your cooperation!

    Best regards,

    Hey,
it magically fixed itself and I don't want to restart the app or anything now :)

I'll try and record whenever it starts happening again

    Hi Darius,

We're glad to hear it's working now as intended. This is the issue that has been reported quite a lot of times before but it fixes itself in every case before we even have a chance to collect logs.

If it happen again, could you send us a sample (a snapshot) of Path Finder process in a separate file - this will enable us to analyze what happens with the application. Here's how to get it:

    1. Open Path Finder and reproduce the problem.
    2. Open Activity Monitor from the /Applications/Utilities folder.
    3. Select Path Finder in the process list. To help making a selection, type "Path Finder" in the Filter field.
    4. Click the Sample Process button in the toolbar - this will open a new window entitled "Sample of Path Finder" and a sample of the process is collected.
    5. Click Save and save the sample file.
    6. Close (Command-W) the Sample window opened in step 2.
    7. Send the sample file saved in step 5 to us.

Looking forward to your reply to provide you with further assistance.

    Best Regards,
    John,
    Path Finder Support Team

No video again, but a log file is there.

After saving the log I tried resizing the window to not record a window of insane size and the same bug happened when resizing the window -- the left pane got very small very quickly, then I moved the separator to the middle and it fixed itself.
