PF8

I downloaded PF8 today. I'm running OS 10.13.6 on a MBP 15" Touchbar (2018). When I launch for the first time the purchase window opens up but keeps expanding from the bottom that I can no longer see the bottom of the window and I have to force quit. When I open the window again, I'm presented with the Buy Later or Purchase option but when I click to Purchase (or Buy Later), the window just expands down. I have to force quit each time. I've attached the window before it expanded out of view.

I have a license for both PF7 & 8. For now I've decided to install PF7.

    Hi, 

    May I ask you to check if you see any logging messages from Path Finder when you click the "Buy Later" button? 

    Please use the Console.app and filter for Process = Path Finder

    In case there are any messages, please attach them in a .txt file here.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, the same thing is happening with the SPECIAL version.
    I installed over the previous version and a fresh install (uninstalled first using AppCleaner)

    I am not using an external monitor. Here is my Mac info if this helps any (see attachment)

    I won't be upgrading to Mojave for another few weeks. My concern is being able to register before trial is over.

    Hi Lyra, 

    There is Path Finder 8.3.4 available now. 
    May I ask you to follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists: 

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article: 
      http://support.cocoatech.com/kb/installation-and-compatibility/how-...
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site
    3. Launch Path Finder and move it to the Apps folder as the app suggests

    Followed the steps to delete pathfinder and problem still persists.
