To replicate this bug:
Open the Size Browser. Pick anuy item in the list. Click the "Show" button in the toolbar in the upper left.
A blank PF window will open.
Notice the little black squares in teh lower right and left of the window.
Click one of them to resize the window.
The window is still blank but now the background color is black.
From this point forward, all new browser windows in PF are blank. But, if you click on a browser window previously open before invoking the Size Browser, newly created browser windows are normal.

PF 8.3.3 on macOS 10.13.6

Just found that this bug is now persistent.
I closed the browser window that was previously open before invoking the Size Browser (see bug report at the top of this thread). Even after quitting PF and/or restarting the system all new browser windows are blank, rendering PF unusable. This is not a small bug!

    Update:
With the bug persisting as per the last post, and with no PF browser windows open, I went to the Path Finder menu and selected Hide Path Finder Desktop. After the screen settled down and went back ot the Path Finder menu and selected Show Path Finder Desktop. After waiting for the screen to refresh, I opened a new browser window. All back to normal.
