Open with application is not working in Pathfinder 8.2.4

I tried many times to select a default application using the Open With panel. Unfortunately, I am not able to change the default application and even not able to select change all. I presume that this is a bug with 8.2.4, even I observed it in the prior versions. I was hoping this bug will be fixed in version 8.2.4 but did not.

Please fix this bug soon.

    Hi, 

    Please follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists: 

    1. Make sure that Path Finder is located in the Applications folder

    2. Open your terminal and paste the following command to check if Path Finder has been slapped with the quarantined extended attribute:
      xattr /Applications/"Path Finder.app"

    3. If you see com.apple.quarantine returned as output from that last command, then go ahead and run this next command:
      xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/"Path Finder.app"

    You won't get any feedback or output from that command, but that's okay because you can just run the first command again to see for yourself if the com.apple.quarantine attribute shows up again. It shouldn't, and now Path Finder is freed from Apple quarantine jail. Restart your PathFinder now.

    I followed the step 2. Nothing showed up. I restarted the Path Finder just in case. But, the problem still exists.

    Hi, 

    May I ask you to follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists: 

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article: 
      http://support.cocoatech.com/kb/installation-and-compatibility/how-...
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site
    3. Launch Path Finder and move it to the Apps folder as the app suggests
