PF8 is failing to list files of a folder but PF7 can

I have a newly build Hackingtosh and so far everything seems to work fine with the exception of PF8. When I installed and run PF8 the folder views are not showing their children (or take a very long time).

That said afterwards PF7 is sporting the same issue but a restart/reinstall does seem to fix the issue after a while.

For now I can work with PF7 but I would like to upgrade soon as my MacBook Pro is working just fine. Let me know if I can help you
investigate this issue further. I did a short run-through of the Console logs and could not find a smoking gun.

Thanks - Andreas Schaefer

I just wanted to note that I had to delete the Path Finder folder in the ~/Library/Application Support do get Path Finder 7 fully working again. It might be good if different PF version use different Application Support folders to let people test the new version without affecting their older but working version.
