Constant crashing

Since the last update, getting the spinning beach ball regularly.....never happened before.

    Please delete your preferences file ~/Library/Preferences/com.cocoatech.PathFinder.plist and check if the issue still persists.

    Hi Steven, 

    May I ask you to follow the instruction and check if the issue still persists: 

    1. Delete Path Finder and its traces according to the article: 
      http://support.cocoatech.com/kb/installation-and-compatibility/how-...
    2. Download the latest version of the app from our site
    3. Copy zipped app to the Applications folder
    4. Unzip it into the Apps folder and launch

    Let me know how it goes.

    Used CleanApp and removed every trace it found.

    did that

    Cant to that because it auto unzips so I just copied the app to the applications folder

    Still crashes so I am trying the above one more time.

    Any leads on this? I've been getting fairly frequent crashes from PF8 without any idea why. It's not occurring when I complete any particular action. At times I'll try to switch to it and it simply won't be responsive. I have to Force Quit. What else can a person try, to determine what the crash was caused by?

    Re PF8.2: I too experience several fatal hangings every day .. requiring a force-quit and restart.

    I have done all the deleting and reinstalling, to no avail.

    The only difference may be that this happened for me with PF8 and PF8.1 as well!
