What does ASL stand for? Why not put that in the knowledge base?

Thanks!

    Where did you find that? I know the acronym “ASL” for “American Sign Language”.

    @CocoaTech

    Can't anyone explain to us this ASL module?

    From what I can think of based on the columns label (Time, Facility, PID, UID,...) we can find in the module configuration, it's an interface to the Apple System Log facility. I guess it's should be a way to see some error messages (something like "Console.app"), but I can't find a way to use it as well.

    Or maybe it's just useful to log messages when debugging a custom plugin made with the Path Finder SDK ?

    That was my initial thought, too.. and you're probably right.. but why doesn't anything display when we try to bring the module up in Path Finder?

    @davido as I said, I can't find a way to use it as well, so my thinking is that the module is not really working or may be working as a log feature while developing a Path Finder plugin... but actually, Cocoatech should tell us ;)

    I'm dismayed by the non-response from Cocoa Tech while the rest of us keep playing the guessing game. If it's something completely useless to users, they should remove it.
