PF8 main browser window is blank

All I have is a blank window, PF8 is unusable SMH

    I’ve seen the whole dreary “reinstall PathFinder”/“no-that-doesn’t-work” thing too often to even consider that as a remedy for much of anything. My response for all this new unwelcome 8.x behavior is rebooting.

    Still waiting for an update that restores sidebar functionality, Cocoatech. Are you working on it?

    In the mean time, I’m much more open to the possibility of a third party Finder replacement than I used to be. For the first time in years, I’m in the market.

    Hi, 

    First of all, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience. 

    You may need to delete folder "~/Library/Application Support/Path Finder/Settings/Data Store", where "~" is your home folder.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Didn’t help.

    Same problem. Blank PF8 browser window.

    Hi Jordan:

    Appreciate the reply. However, you know from other responses in the forum on this issue that deleting the Data Store does not resolve the issue. Better to suggest nothing or admit the issue is known problem and being worked on is a far better reply.

    To reinforce what I mentioned in my previous comment, I don't believe I've ever had this happen to me when I have not had any windows open. If I have a window(s) open on other spaces but none in the current space, it will sometimes happen. If I have no windows open OR if I open a new window in a space that already has a window open, it will not happen. I hope that helps track down this annoying bug.

    Same here. Quitting blank Windows, Deleting mentioned folder and Fresh Start does not change anything.

    Fix it, immediately, Cocoatech Team!

    When Path Finder starts for the first time, I get a "Purchase". Whenever I click on 'later' or 'buy now', the window gets larger at the bottom, but nothing else happens.
    I am behind a corporate proxy, which I need to authenticate against.

    Same picture also after upgrade to 8.3.6; window stays blank.
